The Chevrolet Silverado is a full-sized pickup truck that has been produced since 1999 under the brand Chevrolet, which is owned by General Motors. The car has a frame structure with continuous rear axle on spring suspension and Chevrolet Silverado headlights. Under the hood there are gasoline engines with direct injection and changing valve timing: V6 4.3 liters, the V8 volume of 5.3 and 6.2 liters.
Transmission — only six-speed automatic and rear — wheel drive or full. Also, the truck has a "heavy" version of Heavy Duty, lifting capacity of which can reach 3.5 tons. Such "Silverado" is equipped with a gasoline engine 6.0 V8 (322 or 360) or a 6.6 turbo diesel V8 power 397 HP.
The premiere of the third generation took place in late 2012 as a model of the 2014th year. Chevrolet Silverado of the third generation has been produced since 2013. A similar model is sold under the name GMC Sierra.
